The Joint Venture (JV) Billing & Collections Analyst will perform all billing and collections activities for both Joint Ventures within the Engine Systems Product Line.
Functions include Audit Support, Billing and Collections, and Cash Application.
This role will be performed in a Hybrid capacity, with the individual splitting their time between one of two on-site BAE Systems on-site office locations (Endicott, NY OR Fort Wayne, IN), and remotely.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Record and process all invoices received by subcontractors in a timely manner Record and apply all cash applications received in JV accounting system Support all external and internal audits, where required Support monthly account reconciliations and other activities, where required Report collections and invoicing status to management on bi-monthly basis, serving as an expert for the function Seek out projects to continually improve processes Performing other duties and responsibilities as required Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related degree/equivalent experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross functional teams and joint venture partners Ability to develop solutions and provide process improvements where needed Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures Pursuant to a specific US Government contract, selected individual must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks Analytical and problem solving skills Previous experience in Accounting Ability to challenge and improve knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policies Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
