MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Budget Financial Analyst role involves professional tasks centered on developing and managing school district budgets.
Responsibilities include issuing budget schedules, consolidating budget requests, preparing budget proposals for stakeholders, analyzing resource changes, explaining financial allocations, and preparing long and short-term financial plans.
Does related work as required.
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or NYS registered college or university with a Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or closely related field; OR
B) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or NYS registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or closely related field and two years of accounting, budget or financial analysis experience; OR
C) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or NYS registered college or university with an Associate’s degree in accounting, business or closely related field and four years of accounting, budget or financial analysis related experience.
D) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of A), B) and C) above.
