Ford mustang convertible - $999 (Binghamton)

This car is a very solid project 4cl auto trans.

trans is bad.

Fuel tank has a hole drilled into it needs a new tank unless you can patch it.
I put a bolt in the hole some gas and started it up it moves a little when it's cold but the trans warms up and stops working all together .

any and all offers considered The car is currently set up high on blocks to you can crawl under it to take a good look .

the convertabl top is shot but it dont leak yet.

the interior is very very good for a convertible.

this interior is worth more than the entire car in florida it's just hard to find clean interior especially in red.

this car needs a trans you can find transmissions on car-part.
com or is it auto-part.
com .

anyway you can buy a trans for 300-500 bucks and a fuel tank might cost you 100 or 150.

other then these two parts this car is ready to drive .

could use new tires and the paint is faded.

but there is very little rust.

this is a great fun project.
.
in case you dont like 4cl motors this car will accept a v8 .
.
the 4cl v6 and v8 all share the same engine cradle as well as lots of other parts like wiring and even the ecm.
I used to convert these cars to v8s all the time when I was younger .

I just cant find the time to drive out and collect the parts needed .

and have waited to find a trans local.

I just cant drive 6hours to get a trans right now.

there are a few aval.

but I don't have to full day to go get one.
