Apply today! EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Enhance the mobility of consumers by providing professional and accessible transportation in a safe, reliable, comfortable and courteous manner.
Operate county vehicle an average of 150 miles each day.
This is an opportunity to provide transportation service as well as social contact for our consumers (includes senior adults and wheelchair-dependent persons).
Chance to work independently.
Excellent communication skills required, both person to person and via two-way radio.
Willingness and patience to assist consumers, including senior adults and wheelchair-dependent consumers along rough payment or unpaved paths.
Ability to easily adjust in daily schedule.
Must be a people-person as you will be providing important assistance and socialization throughout the day.
Work Schedule and Additional Information: County position - Part-time, on-call employment (14-21+ hours per week).
Transportation operates 4 AM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday & limited hours on Saturdays.
