2001 MAXUM 2900scr Sport Cruiser w/Trailer KISMET too is a freshwater sport cruiser with many upgrades and is well maintained.
We purchased this boat in 2017 (clean title) and it has been on Cayuga Lake ever since.
It is powered by twin Mercruiser 4.
3L, 6-cyl gas engines turning sturdy Bravo 2 outdrives with newer aluminum props.
Top end is around 35MPH.
Best cruise is around 22MPH at 3200RPM.
Will sip gas at 5-10MPH in the canal.
Port engine has approximately 930 hrs.
and the repowered (2019) Starboard engine has approximately 274 hrs.
Both power plants run exceptionally strong and have been well maintained (logbooks available to look at).
Both outdrive bellows (all) and gimbal bearings replaced 2 years ago.
Engine impellers changed 2 years ago.
Both carburetors were rebuilt between 1 and 2 years ago.
New plugs, dist.
Caps/rotors replaced within 2 years.
Boat has been winter stored indoors since 2017 and is available to inspect anytime.
Upgrades include… • V-birth and Aft-cabin memory foam mattress toppers • 3000 watt 12-120V power inverter (w/transfer switch) to run microwave and other 120V appliances and outlets (NOT A/C) while not on shore power out on the water • Propane 2-burner stove in galley (removed old electric/alcohol unit) • Custom made Cherry/Maple tabletop in salon.
