Rehoming our Male “American bully” (Owego)

Meet Luce, Luce has great potential.
He came to us 4 months ago from a very abusive house hold.
Luce has issues with other Male dogs, small children and cats.
If you are considering adopting Luce please know he’s a work in progress.
My family and I wanted so badly to be his forever home but we are endangering our children.
He is very skidd-ish towards people with fast movements and he’s nipped at them for being around him playing.
He had slight food aggression when he came to us he is getting better but I believe he was left under fed in his last home and he gets into garbage, litter boxes, takes food off from counter tops and tables as a habit of survival.
He needs someone who can work with him and have the right environment a place with a large yard and preferably no other animals.
Definitely no male dogs as he is highly aggressive and will attack immediately, unfortunately we had an incident with our neighbors dog, thankfully we intervened and nobody got hurt.
According to our his last owner he is up to date on distemper shots but isn’t vaccinated for rabies and isn’t fixed.
Luce regardless of all of his flaws is such a loving and loyal dog.
He needs the right person or people to work him through this and give him the best environment to succeed.
Luce is a little over a year old to our understanding.
He is potty and kennel trained for bed as he cannot be left out at this time.
He doesn’t do well on a leash either.
